Marianne Robb: is a retired police officer with 34 years of experience in Arizona law enforcement. Her career included roles as a patrol officer, a detective specializing in arson, property crimes, and narcotics and as a crime prevention specialist. In 2015 Marianne joined the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON Arizona chapter). She spent 7 years as a field investigator. She is currently an instructor with MUFON alongside Dave Rich teaching investigators how to apply law enforcement methods, such as evidence collection and advanced interview techniques, to UFO cases. She had taught at MUFON symposiums, and at the annual MUFON boot camp held in Arizona. She is a vocal advocate for collaboration among researchers, government agencies and investigators to uncover the truth about unidentified anomalous phenomena.
Together with fellow retired officer, Dave Rich, she co-founded UAP-PD, an organization focused on bridging the gap between law enforcement and UFO/UAP, paranormal and cryptid investigations. UAP-PD aims to destigmatize UFO/UAP, paranormal and cryptid sightings and provide resources and a "safe zone" for law enforcement officers and first responders to handle and shar their encounters without the fear of being ridiculed or the possibility of losing their career.
Dave Rich: is a retired police officer with 25 years of service in Arizona law enforcement. During his career, he worked in various roles, including patrol, gang investigation, homicide, sex crimes and narcotics. Dave spent his last 15 years of his career as a high school resource officer. In addition to his law enforcement background, he has been active in UFO investigations as a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network ( MUFON Arizona chapter) Dave is also an instructor for MUFON, teaching advanced interview techniques and evidence collection at their boot camps and symposiums.
Dave, co-founder of UAP-PD with Marianne Robb, a fellow retired officer, focus on UFO/UAP, paranormal and cryptid investigations. UAP-PD works to provide resources and training for law enforcement and first responders in handling those types of cases, aiming to remove the stigma and bring professionalism to such investigations.
UFOs aren’t the only phenomena police officers run across. UAP-PD has also collected stories from police investigating other high strangeness, including the paranormal, Bigfoot, skin-walkers, and more.
UAP-PD even has a couple of cases of their own.
